Daisy kaarten deel twee/ Daisy cards part two

Deze kaart is gemaakt na het zien van de geweldige kaarten van Anne Swinkels in de laatste ARTSpecially magazine. Daisy kaarten, eerste van drie/ Daisy cards first of three

Gisteren heb ik drie verschillende kaarten gemaakt met deze daisy's van Stampendous. Vandaag laat ik jullie de eerste zien. Heel eenvoudig ingekleurd met drie kleuren Distress inkt: uitgeknipt en voila! De nieuwste stempels van Darkroom Door, de string sentiments zijn ook een echte aanwinst vind ik zelf./Yesterday I made three different cards with this daisy stamp from Stampendous. Today I will show you the first one. Very easy, colored with three colors Distress ink. The new String Sentiments from Darkroom Door are great new stamps!

Zeven jaar oude glorie hersteld/ Seven year old work restored

Zeven jaar geleden heb ik voor mijn moeder voor haar 75ste verjaardag een soort van calender gemaakt met oude familie foto's. 1928 is haar geboorte jaar. Helaas gebruikte ik toen nog heel vaak fotolijm en is daardoor in de loop van de jaren heel veel werk weer los komen te zitten. Afgelopen week heb ik getracht alles weer in oude glorie te herstellen en kon mama haar kalender weet te pronk zetten op haar dressoir. Voor mij nooit meer fotolijm, hoe fijn het ook werkt!!/ Seven years ago I made this calender for my mothers 75th birthday. As I alway's used photoglue those day's, all the glued items fell off. Last week I did alot of restoration work so my mother could show everybody her calender again!



The couple on the right are my grand-grand father and mother.



This lovely couple are my father and mother. This is their weddingphoto, they got married on the 9th of April.
My mother was 18 and my father 22. My son is 22 now, so that's something to think about when looking at this picture!!

This young lady is my grandmother. She was French, and my grandfather got to know her on coming back from a worldtour. After working for a while in France he went back to Holland again, but my grandmother followed him to start a new life in Holland.

This is my grandfather while he was on his worldtrip. I made this page because he collected postagestamps all his life I made a postage stamp with a picture of my mother in it. His birthday was the 28th of July.

Also my grandfather as he listed for the Canadian army on his world tour.

My father. His birthday was the 29th of May. He used to make woodenclogs as a proffession and he loved to sing. Hence the music and the clogs. His name was Gerrit Jan.

Hero Arts, simple cards

Moest nodig weer eens een stempel in mijn handen hebben, en om maar even op gang te komen een paar Hero Arts stempels gepakt om een paar simpele kaarten te maken. Voelt goed. Hoop dat ik voortaan een beetje meer tijd kan maken hiervoor./ Needed to get my hands on some stamps and ink as I never seem to have time to stamp. So I chose some nice Hero Arts stamps to make some simple cards to get started. Had fun and hope to get more stamping done in the near future.

Meltingpot

Vorige week hebben we onder leiding van Liesbeth een avondje gespeeld met onze meltingpots. Lachen gieren brullen en zoals altijd was het weer bere gezellig. Hieronder zie je mijn bescheiden resultaten!/

Last week we had a great evening full of fun as we were playing with our meltingpots. Liesbeth showed us how to use the utee and this is the result of my work.
