Art Journey Challenge # 75 Doodle or draw

Wist eerst niet wat ik moest doen toen ik deze opdracht van Ellen zag: Doodle of teken iets. Maar toen ik er (ik moet bekennen echt op het laatste moment) eenmaal voor ging zitten was het eigenlijk zo gepiept.

When I first read the assignment for this challenge: Doodle or draw something, I didn't know what to to, but when I finally (at the last minute) sat down to actually create something it came to me rather quick.

Used stamps: Tangled Vines and Tangled Bird, both Art Journey of course.

Ik hoop dat ik je geinspireerd heb om eens anders naar je stempels te kijken en wie weet om je over te halen om ook eens mee te doen met onze Art Journey Challenge.

Art Journey Challenge # 66: Love is the message and the message is love 💖

Deze maand host Anette onze Art Journey Challenge en zij gaf ons in deze Valtentijnsmaand het thema: Love is the message and the message is love.

Ik wens je vanaf mijn eigen blog ook nog een heel gelukkig en gezond 2016 toe. Vooral dat laatste is een groot goed. Laten we dit nieuwe jaar weer samen vieren en van onze geweldige hobby genieten.

Misschien leuk om dit jaar te starten met het deelnemen aan onze Art Journey challenge met een gemakkelijk thema: gebruik een template/Sjabloon. Hieronder zie je mijn bijdrage, maar op onze designteamblog hebben de meiden nog veel meer moois om je te inspireren.

It might be a good start to join in our Art Journey challenge with the theme: use a template. This is my entry but on the designteam blog the designteammembers also made great work to inspire you, so don't forget to hop over.

Art Journey challege 57: One sheet

Wat vliegt de tijd. Alweer tijd voor een nieuwe Art Journey challenge. Corine gaf ons de opdracht om ons te beperken tot 1 Art Journey sheet of 2 losse Art Journey stempels.
Ik koos onze nieuwe sheet Tulips.

Time flies when  your having fun. Again a new month with a new Art Journey Challenge. Corine asked us to make artwork using only one Art Journey sheet. I chose are new sheet Tulips.

Alles behalve zwart/Every color but black

Deze maand heeft Ellen Schrik onze Art Journey challenge gehost en zij koos als thema alle kleuren behalve zwart. Ja dat is zo, als ik een afbeelding stempel is dat vaak in het zwart. Nu mocht dat dus niet. Best leuk om dat heel iets anders te proberen. Zo ben ik deze keer met embossinginkt en embossing poeder aan het werk gegaan. Eigenlijk dus helemaal geen kleur gestempeld dus. De kleur is geponsd en wel met mijn nieuwe kleurtjes inkt Memento Luxe in de kleuren Dunube Blue en Pear Tart.

This month Ellen Schrik hosted our Art Journey challenge and she chose to let us work with every color except for black. And when I thought of it I discovered that I did nearly alway's use the color black to stamp an image. Rather fun to not do what you usually would go for so this time I found myself playing with my embossing ink and white embossing powder. So I actually didn't use color to stamp at all. The background are sponged with my new inks of the range Memento Luxe. Lovely colors: Danube Blue and Pear Tart.

Art Journey Challenge: Curley lines

Alweer een nieuwe challenge op onze designteamblog waarvoor Anneke het thema Curley Lines heeft gekozen.
Hieronder zie je mijn uitwerking hiervan. De achtergrond is gemaakt met Bister. De vlinders zijn ingekleurd met Distress Markers.

Again a new Art Journey challenge, and Anneke chose the theme: Curley Lines. Below my entry. The background is made with Bister. The butterflies are colored with Distress Markers.

Art Journey's Challenge: Kraft

Op ons Designteamblog hebben we deze maand weer een nieuwe challenge met als Thema: Kraft.

De Designteamleden hebben allemaal weer prachtig werk geleverd om jullie te inspireren.

Hieronder een paar tags die ik heb gemaakt.

Met Archival Jet Black gestempeld en daarna met een aquarelpotlood en ingekleurd met wit. Een paar lijnen weer met een zwarte dunne stift aangezet.

I stamped the images with Archival Black and colored them in with an aquarel pencil and then made some accents with a black fineliner.
