Ditress Stains and Bleach

Gisterenavond nog even gespeeld met mijn nieuwste speeltje de Distress Stains van Ranger.De achtergrond is opgebouwd uit de kleuren peeled paint en wild honey op manilla papier. Toen gestempeld met chloor met de roosstempel van Art Journey, in de detailfoto herken je het misschien. Omdat het manilla papier roze kleurt door het chloor ben ik op zoek gegaan naar roze papier. Bloemen van Hero Arts uitgeknipt, gesponst met distress ink peeledpaint en de tekst en swirl van Stempendous maakten het af. Ben zelf wel tevreden met het resultaat. / Yesterday evening I played with my new toy: The Distress Stains from Ranger. For the Background I used the colors peeled paint and wild honey and stamped with bleach and the Rose stamp from Art Journey. As the manilla paper turns up pink with the bleach I stamped the Hero Arts Flowers on pink paper, sponged some peeled paint on them and the swirl and saying from Stamendous made the finishing touch. Really like this card.

Nieuwe Art Journey stempels! New Art Journey stamps!

En voor wie ze nog niet heeft gezien, dit zijn de 3 nieuwe Art Journey sheets en de losse stempel die bij de Boys sheet past. Vooral de sheet met de kindjes was een groot succes tijdens de beurs, en ze zijn ook schattig vinden jullie niet? / This are new Art Journey sheets and the single stamp. Especially the Boys sheet was a great hit during the event last weekend. Aren't they cute?

ARTSpecially beurs in Zeist

De eerste geweldige dag zit er weer op! We hebben er naar lang naar toe geleefd en gewerkt, en het was zeer de moeite waard! Wat een gezelligheid, wat een lol! Hier onder een foto voordat de beurs open ging, de stilte voor de storm. Ben je nog niet geweest? Dit event mag je niet missen! Dus stap in die auto en kom oms morgen een bezoekje brengen. Waar? Op het KNVB sportcomplex aan de Woudenbergseweg 56-58 in Zeist. Je zult er vast geen spijt van krijgen!!

Sneakpeek nieuwe Art Journey stempels/Sneakpeek new Art Journey stamps

Dit weekend tijdens de ARTSpecially beurs in Zeist zullen traditiegetrouw weer nieuwe Art Journey stempels ten doop worden gehouden. Op de blogs van de verschillende designteamleden kun je vanaf vandaag sneakpeeks zien van de kaarten die er gemaakt zijn. Niet elk designteamlid zal kunnen showen omdat sommigen de stempels gewoonweg niet hebben ontvangen. Hmmm, misschien ergens een postbode die rubberstamps met postagestamps verwart? Willy en Paula, ik hoop dat ze snel bij jullie aankomen./

This weekend during the ARTSpecially Event we will launch new Art Journey stamps. During this week you can see some sneakpeeks on the blogs of some of the designteammembers. Not all members will be able to show what they have made for the simple reason that they never received the stamps. Hmm, maybe some postman has mistaken rubberstamps for postagestamps and is playing with them now? Willy and Paula, hope you receive them soon.

Zondagwerk/ Sunday workout

Ondanks dat het te mooi weer is om binnen te zitten, heb ik toch mijn voorgenomen besluit doorgezet om deze dag aan stempelen te besteden. Dit is mijn eerste kaart. Geinspireerd door Liesbeths workshop die zij gisteren bij Art Journey gaf, ben ik met de nieuwe LaBlanche stempels en chloor in de weer geweest. Als ondergrond ben ik begonnen met de Distress Stains van Ranger, mijn lievelingsproduct van dit moment./
Although the weather is too nice to be indoors, I decided to stay with my desicion to spend a day in my craftroom. This is my first card of today. Inspired by Liesbeths workshop she gave at Art Journey yesterday I made this card with one of the new LaBlanche stamps and bleach. The background is made with my new toy: Distress Stains from Ranger.

En de derde kaart, heel eenvoudig. Ligt op een bos bloemen die voor mij een heel speciale betekenis hebben./ And card three, very simple. The card is lying on a bunch of flowers that has a very special meaning to me.
